NEW Release from Advanced Clutch Technology for you 2006+ WRX guys! This is exciting news as the quality clutch options are lacking currently in our opinion for guys with upgraded turbos and the push type clutch kits.

"Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has released a new 240mm conversion kit family for the 2006-2015 Subaru WRX. SB11-HDSS

This new upgrade kit has allowed ACT to utilize a 240mm disc instead of the original 230mm included in ACT’s SB5 clutch kits. ACT’s 240mm upgrade kits provide more heat capacity, lower pedal effort, and a more efficient pressure plate design for better overall feel and drivability. By designing a more efficient pressure plate, ACT has also been able to make an Xtreme version for the WRX 5-speed applications. These Xtreme pressure plates offer 21% more torque capacity than ACT’s previous SB5 kits.

The ACT Street clutch kits combine one of the pressure plate choices with a performance organic street disc. The disc features premium organic friction materials able to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel-backed linings for highburst strength and modifications engineered for quicker shifting. The ACT Street clutch kit provides a moderate and consistent pedal feel, smooth engagement and significantly improved durability. These kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and have increased torque capacity up to 510 ft.-lbs.

The ACT Race clutch kits combine one of the pressure plate choices with a cerametallic Xtreme Race disc, which is available in 6- and 4-pad spring-centered and rigid-hub designs. These discs are highly durable while allowing for quick shifting. The Xtreme Race discs are for high-powered engines and recommended for track use only. The ACT Race clutch kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and are rated to hold up to 650 ft.-lbs. of torque at the crank."

More Mitsubishi USA Evo X action today. Getting this one finished up on the dyno after a few new goodies were installed. Previously upgraded with a Extreme Turbo Systems high flow cat and intake kit along with a COBB Tuning 3-port EBCS and a custom tune. This go around we added the awesome AMS Performance downpipe, DeatschWerks 65C fuel pump, and a CORSA Performance Exhaust & Air Intake Systems catback system. Ended up having misfires the first time out on the dyno after the upgrades so we installed some new NGK Spark Plugs and got it strapped back down for some fun.

Looking sharp with the blacked out ENKEI エンケイ RPF1 wheels!

Finishing up the custom tune on this 370z today via UpRev pro-tuner software. A tune wouldn't be complete with a few bolt-ons to help the VQ37VHR breathe better. We upgraded the exhaust with Berk Technology high flow cats and a HKS Co., Ltd HKS USA Hi-Powered catback which is one of the best sounding combinations around. Intake side we kept it simple with some K&N Filters typhoon short ram intakes with heat shields. Getting everything dialed in for maximum pleasure now and kicking around the idea of a supercharger in the future.

Finishing up this 2016 STi on the dyno today after installing some nice mods to help get power up to around 380WHP. We are running a BlouchTurbo Dominator 1.5XTR turbocharger, Mishimoto Automotive TMIC, Injector Dynamics 1000CC fuel injectors, IAG Performance billet TGV deletes, a PERRIN Performance 3" turbo inlet hose, and of course getting pro-tuned via a COBB Tuning V3 accessport.

This is the second round of upgrades for this car, so supporting the new mods this customer was already running:

- COBB Tuning SF Intake w/ airbox
- Invidia Q300 catless turboback exhaust
- Aeromotive Fuel Systems adjustable fuel pressure regulator
- NGK Spark Plugs 1-step colder spark plugs
- DeatschWerks 65C fuel pump

The spool up is phenomenal on the Dom1.5XTR on these dual AVCS STi engines which makes for a very responsive and fun ~400HP set-up for daily drivers, weekend warriors, or auto-cross lovers.

Turbos? Yeah we got those. A variety on display here for several fun builds we have going on. First a BlouchTurbo Dominator 1.5XTR getting ready to go on a 2016 STi on Monday with some Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors and supporting mods. Next a Atp Turbo Turbo By Garrett GTX3576 going on a Mitsubishi Evo IX. Then a Precision Turbo & Engine 6162 ball bearing turbo going into a 2005 Legacy GT with a Extreme Turbo Systems rotated turbo kit. Lastly a pair of BorgWarner Performance Aftermarket EFR 6258 turbos going on a NISMO R32 GT-R using a Full-Race Motorsports turbo kit Injector Dynamics 1000CC injectors, HKS Co., Ltd fuel rail, and some custom fabrication to make it all fit together running a AEM Performance Electronics Infinity-6 Plug and play system.

Thanks to all of our followers and supporters, we have been so busy the social media has been neglected. This is a pic from about a week ago of a beautiful RS24 spec 2.4L 4B11T engine assembled to make some power. Custom 89.5mm Manley Performance Products, Inc. pistons, TurboTuff rods, and their 94mm TurboTuff stroker crank running Cosworth bearings. Head is built with Kelford Cams 214-B cams, GSC Power-Division beehive spring and retainers, and valves. With the heavy spring kit used in this head we added some peace of mind via the beautiful Boost Resource billet cam gear. This block will be rocking a top mounted Extreme Turbo Systems HTA86 turbo kit and a completely custom fuel system using a Radium Engineering multi pump surge tank and two Walbro "485" pumps. Also running a set of South Side Performance Inc. Stage 3 "sidewinder" clutch packs to make sure the power gets to the ground on this beefy Evo X MR.

Lots of great projects going down this spring!
