Customer brought in an Evo X previously built by another shop. Letting us know the car suddenly stopped running while he was driving. After our teardown we found the culprit, a lonely valve. ... See MoreSee Less
Here are two NissanGTR that we had the pleasure of working on this week. Mods are extremely similar between the two cars, almost identical actually. Both tuned via the Cobb accessport with TCM tuning being performed as well.
First graph is for the 2017 GTR we had on the dyno yesterday. Only about 600 miles on the motor. Finished up at 593WHP/637WTQ. You could tell the motor was fresh on this one, I think it'll gain another ~10HP after a few thousand more miles on the power plant to allow everything to get fully broken in.
Next graph is for the 2015 GTR. Just finished installing the new injectors, fuel pumps, downpipes, and intercooler kit. Finished up at 605WHP and an impressive 672WTQ. Definitely a happy engine in this one!
Getting the dyno rolling this morning with Mike's 2017 NissanGTR that recently had a COBB Tuning Stage 3 kit installed. This kit upgrades the car with Cobb Tuning's Big SF Intake kit, Y-pipe w/ high flow catalytic converters, Cobb 1000cc fuel injectors, AEM Performance Electronics 320LPH fuel pumps, and AMS Performance Alpha intercooler. Typically this kit comes with the Cobb downpipes as well, but this customer opted to swap those in favor of a set of Alpha Performance 90MM catless down pipes. The larger diameter downpipes without cats was causing some issues with over boosting under wide open throttle.
We will have it fixed up with a custom pro-tune in no time!
Todd MarcelliniIf I remember correctly (we've had several R35 GTRs on the dyno in the past few days) it made 594whp/630tq. The 2017 GTR in this post only has 550 miles on it. The 2015 that I tuned yesterday made more power but it was well broken in.1 month ago
