By upping the diameter of the downpipe your allowing it to do just that, breathe. This downpipe paired with the proper engine management is known to achieve up to 60 wheel horsepower.

The downpipe is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a large bell mouth, which will ensure longevity while enhancing power by freeing wastegate gases. Unlike other manufactures who make you buy the down pipe and test pipe separate, Invidia decided to do it all in one simple design which replaces the stock Cat pipe and Down pipe with this one pipe
